COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Don Chalmers Ford is committed to doing more than selling and servicing vehicles.  In fact, we’re dedicated to helping improve the community in every way that we can so that, as Don says, “We can be a great company in a great community”.

LEADERSHIP

We believe that our employees should serve in a leadership role in supporting the communities where we live and work.  One of the core values of the dealership is “Serve the Community”. Our belief is that we best serve the community through funding and volunteerism.  Don Chalmers Ford provides direct funding and sponsorship to nonprofits throughout Central New Mexico, and many of our employees serve on nonprofit boards and as volunteers for events.

PARTNERSHIPS

FUNDING
We seek partnerships with nonprofits that help them leverage resources, develop capacity building, and support long term sustainability.  The four areas in which we focus our support are: Education, Healthcare, Economic Development, and Community Service.

Proposals for funding and/or inkind support are considered throughout the year.  For our Contribution Guidelines, please view our Guidelines for Submitting Proposals.

VOLUNTEERISM
We encourage our employees to participate in organizations that enrich them personally and professionally, and give them the opportunity to use their unique talents to serve our community.
